About Us

Ashford Forest is an established Memorial neighborhood of lovely homes and mature trees located south of I-10 between Memorial Drive and Buffalo Bayou.  Ashford Forest is sought after for it’s convenient location to Memorial-area shopping and amenities, outstanding Spring Branch ISD schools, upscale ambiance, and close proximity to the West Side Energy Corridor. Buffalo Bayou and Terry Hershey Park border the subdivision on the South and provide a natural setting for walking, jogging, biking, and nature studies.

Ashford Forest is a neighborhood where many children who grew up in the area 30 years ago return to raise their own families. The neighborhood enjoys an active Civic Club, Mom’s Club, and is also a member of the Memorial Super Neighborhood #16, an initiative of the City of Houston Planning and Development Department. All residents in Ashford Forest also enjoy membership in the Nottingham Forest Club recreational facility. The club is located on 10 wooded acres, bordering Buffalo Bayou and Terry Hershey Park.

Recreation & Swim Club

The Nottingham Forest Club is a premier recreation and swim club that has exclusive access to Nottingham Forest and Ashford Forest residents as well as available paid memberships for anyone in the surrounding areas.

For more information on club programs, events, and amenities visit the NFC Recreation & Swim Club Webpage.

NFC offers challenging year-round tennis activities, as well as individual instructions and group clinics by two resident tennis professionals on five lighted outdoor hard courts.

This is a great way to get some exercise and extra hitting practice. League play for men and women begins in September and lasts until May for all levels of play.

The pool and grounds at the Nottingham Forest Club (NFC) are unique to West Houston. NFC has three connected pools and a baby pool – a 20-yard shallow pool with an incredible water park style slide, a 25-yard 6 lane pool and a large deep end, complete with two low diving boards.

The Nottingham Forest Swim Team, known as the Sharks, compete in the Memorial Spring Branch Swim Conference – Red Division.  Nottingham Forest Swim Team is open to all families living in Nottingham Forest and Ashford Forest neighborhoods.

The Nottingham Forest Park is a vast area connected to the club that is surrounded by mature trees and features swings, slides, and playground equipment for all ages. The Park also serves to host a number of birthday parties and community events.
